Happy National Day! Truth be told, I don't feel particularly patriotic on this day ;-) but I did enjoy the articles in the papers where people wrote about the special places which remind them of who they are. For me, it would be the church at M Road. It's here that I grew up in. Here that I took the step of faith. Here that I call many my brothers and sisters. And here will my two boys grow up in too.

Today is another wonderful day in church. The rain kept many back after the luncheon and of course we took the opportunity to catch up. It's incredible how our lives converge on that one day on Sunday, week after week after week. Views and dreams are shared. Jokes and sarcasms are traded. Joys doubled, sorrows halved.

I do so love this body of Christ, warts and all. Hey, brothers and sisters-in-Christ, did you know what was glaringly missing today at the luncheon? It only dawned on me when I reached home. Our in-house er ahem took a day off. Not that he is missed. LoL.

Here are the Cheongs at the luncheon. Pix taken by dear brother P. Lee, whom I have known almost all my life.

Hey YP! It's summer break? Eager to see your pix as always. Have lots of fun and regards to SL & boys. If my 4 nephews' example is anything to go by, I will soon be "looking up" to my boys, lol
