I'm not into Facebook but your nephew adds you as a friend, you are suddenly forced to make an awkward decision to accept his invitation or not. Kinda throws our aunty-nephew relationship off balance...a little ;-) Ok lah, it is not as "bad" as parents inviting their kid to be their friend or vice-versa.
If this sounds Greek to you, fret not, you're not alone. I've consciously resisted the temptation to involve myself in another cyberspace activity even if the whole world is talking about Facebook. I "reluctantly" signed up when a dear friend invited me sometime back. Even after signing up, it was largely a dormant account: i think i only logged on once after that!
Well, that will change from tonight. My nephew not only invited me to be his friend, he also sent me an oreo (he wouldn't dare throw me a sheep lol) and i've also received a whole lot of gifts for the pet i've adopted at his invitation. er, yes, i adopted a pet...
It's a weird new world. If blogging is what many people regard as "so yesterday", i think i'll probably remain in yesterday for a long while yet ;-)
