Another Vacation At "Home"

This is at Bukit Batok. We stayed at one of these 2-bedroom chalets for the past 3 days. Unfortunately it rained and rained. We were greeted by Mr Sun only on the day we checked out! But we already had activities planned for the kids, so it was not too bad. We signed the kids up for a 6-hour robotics class at the clubhouse and papa and I went shopping!! We also spent a day at the Science Centre.

There are 2 unfurnished chalets there for large groups. There was a church group there. These youngsters were well behaved, unlike the group there on our last night who made so much noise that I scolded them at 4.30am in the morning!!!! (I yelled at them from the balcony!)

The weather was just slightly better on the day we visited Science Centre.

We visited the new exhibition on mummies and all (well, nearly all) things Egyptian

The pharoah's organs such as lungs and stomach were preserved in jars like these

Visiting the Eco Garden at the Science Centre was one of our highlights.

We have never set foot there even though we were at the Science Centre a couple of times.

We also learn many things about plants there, like its healing properties among others.

At last, we visited the pool at the clubhouse - after we checked out!

Never have we appreciated the sun more ;-)
