Osaka (4 Nov Sunday)

We took an early morning flight (1.10 am in fact!) to Osaka and reached there blurry-eyed as we hardly slept. The kids were too excited lah. It was cooling there throughout our one-week stay. Joining us was the family of papa's colleague. The C. family has 3 kids (aged 10, 12 & 13) and my kids enjoyed the company of the jie jies and gor gor.

The beginning of our many encounters with ticket vending machines in Osaka.
Here we are purchasing the airport limo bus tickets.

We are heading for Uehommachi,
the bus stops right at the door step of
Sheraton Miyako Hotel where we would be staying

Boarding the limo bus.
In front of us - the C family.

If you caught the Japanese video I uploaded earlier,
you would understand the "significance" of our room number ;-)

We spent the rest of the day...... sleeping. But we did explore a bit of the supermarket adjacent to the hotel prior to checking in. The food was really pricey. But the short shopping experience was useful as we were able to guage what was value-for-money during the rest of our trip.
