Ewan Turns Six!

This is definitely one cool way to celebrate your birthday:

with a visit to the dentist to extract your front tooth ;-)

Ewan turns 6 today. Coincidentally, today is also the last day of kindergarten for him. So we celebrated his birthday with his class in the morning.

As this was the last day of school, the children came in party clothes.

You see Teacher D preparing the children to sing Ewan a birthday song. Just 2 days back, she got the class to make birthday cards to Ewan; really sweet of her.

Ethan enjoyed the party as well. He made himself useful by helping Teacher D distribute other party goodies contributed by the students. Teacher D was Ethan's kindergarten teacher as well. Teacher D turned all teary when she hugged every student at the end of the party. Sigh, farewells are so difficult.......for the grown ups. The kids were cool about it though, saying their bye-byes enthusiastically.

Well, one exciting chapter has ended for Ewan. He will surely miss his teachers and friends, and the carefree life in the kindergarten for the past 3 years....sniff sniff...Here are some photos of his graduation concert held last Saturday at NYP auditorium.
