i taught Sunday School this morning. i haven't done so for a quite a while, preferring to teach bible class as it's a smaller group. So today, i revisited the vibrancy (actually it's just a nicer substitute for noisiness) of 40 kids in a class. i appreciate the young people for their enthusiasm in this area of kingdom work. i think i'm too old for this, wahahahahaha. mrbiscuit was very nice lah. He sms me during the week to ask how i was managing. i'm fine. Just counting down to 4 more Sundays, lol.

i bumped into an old fren today! I think it has been more than 15 years since we last talked. He is a few years older than me and was from my church till he left when we were mid 20's? Anyway, it was nice catching up on the missing 15 years, lol. He shared something personal towards the end of our conversation and i'm very touched by it.
"I'm still sad whenever i think about it. But life goes on."
It's no small matter and i think it takes courage to share honestly.
On a lighter note, many have been commenting about my weight loss. Yes, i've lost weight but to have a different someone commenting about it every Sunday for the past few months is a bit unnerving. i don't think i'm losing weight ALL the time, lol. So i was in fact very happy that the old fren that i bumped into, made NO mention of my weight. You see, everything is relative lah. It depends on your reference point mah. i probably looked the same 15 years ago, lol. Along the way with 2 pregnancies, the weight went up and down loh ;-)

Overheard while i was preparing dinner....
The significant other fell asleep while watching an animated movie with the boys. When he woke up, the movie ended and he asked the boys about the bad guy and whether the girl married the hero.
Sig. Other: Did they marry?
Ethan: I don't know. They kissed. So somewhere there lah.
