On Learning

A director of a special school in his speech on graduation day:

"I wish two things for you........'courage' and 'honour'.....Many people don't understand 'courage' ...invariably they said, "Courage means not being afraid." But that's not what it means at all. Courage means being afraid and doing it anyway."
