Destination Sighted

New school term began yesterday and I'm enjoying the morning quietness and solitude again. I will try to ignore the clutter that has grown over the one-week hols and savour the me-alone time for one more day? :-)

I've been involved in a weekend marital workshop as a co-facilitator over the past 4 Saturdays and am looking forward to its end this weekend. Finale is great when you see what has been achieved (satisfaction) and what could have been better (hope). I'm also looking forward to completing the printing of the church magazine this Sunday. The climax of every issue for me is always seeing the magazine in print. The worst part is overcoming inertia to work on the editing and layout when the articles/contributions come streaming in (worse if slowly coming in).

Yes, while it is true that the journey is more important than the destination, finale (with or without fireworks) - knowing you have arrived - makes it all worthwhile.

However for now, the vision of an uncluttered flat is good enough :-)
