A great day! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the outing at Wild Wild Wet. They came home totally zonked, fell asleep as soon as their heads touched the pillow. Ha, one of those rare occasions I don't need to read bedtime stories. Today, the kids learnt that age doesn't matter - they could brave one of the scariest rides - the Ular-lah - where you sit in a big float in a group and go down a huge slide as in racing along rapids. They went 3 times consecutively. And Ethan also tried the Waterworks - one of those twirly wirly tube slides (he is not very adventurous by nature). Of course, credit must be given to our dear friends from Perth - Emerald, Pearl, Jasper and Shannon. Our kids feel safe and secure with these big jie jies and gor gors.
I had fun too! Especially on the Slide Up (Someone please change the name! It doesn't do justice to this terrific ride). I went 2 times, once with Jasper and once with Shannon. They needed someone who is at least 1.47m tall. (Don't ask me why the strange height limit) Boy, we plunged nearly 90 degrees down - it is scary but fun! It's ridiculous I know - we carried the heavy float up 3 stories high to scare ourselves silly.
We are all burnt and burnt out. 7 hours in the sun, what do you expect?
