~ i felt so lost at the ending cos there were so many unanswered questions. i thought for one moment someone has torn away the ending pages of the book. i googled and gosh so many people have so much to say, lol. In the end i gave up reading the different interpretations and was at peace with the haunting feeling and questions. Excellent read.
An Artist of the Floating World 1986 √
~ didn't particularly touch me though it is well written. Perhaps the subject is something i can't really identify with. But then hoh, the next book Remains is about a butler, also not what i can identify with, but i enjoyed that book very much.
