No lah, i didn't force them to join this year's Kids Run lor. i merely proposed the idea and encouraged them to think about it. Serious, lol. This year's run is held at the F1 Pit.
Ethan's run is 1.4km and Ewan's 800m. There are many other categories starting from babies all the way to 12 years old. If you are 6 months to 23 months, you will race in a pram. I mean your papa or mama will push you lah. The 2-4 and 5-6 year old kids also run with one parent. Older kids run alone. Aiyah, why leh, lol.

Ethan and Ewan could watch each other's event. There are 3 events separating the boys: enough time for the significant other and i to send Ethan to the reporting area, come back to the pit to watch him race, send Ewan to the reporting area, collect Ethan and watch Ewan race.

Yeah, both completed, well done! Both were greenhorn lah, they were shoved at the starting line and both fell *shake head* (As if i have a lot of experience in mass run, LOL)

After the race, it was heading to the milo van (my favourite). We also collected the sponsor's goodie bag (got fruits and shower gel).

These are the school boys with their Principal and PE teachers. My boys' school came in 2nd in the school challenge i.e. the school with the second most number of participants. The school was first at the inaugural event 3 years ago. Mrs F the PE HOD was telling me that 3 years back, they kept encouraging the boys to participate cos they wanted to win the school challenge. But since every year there are so many "national" events for the kids, they didn't push for this run this year. And yet surprisingly quite a huge number signed up. Mrs F a runner herself observed that more and more people are running. i couldn't agree more :)

That's Ethan holding the trophy. Cos the P and teachers decided that the kids should receive the trophy instead :) None of them actually went up the stage (unlike the other schools). They came purely to support the kids. That tells you a lot hor.

Running is good for you. End of hard selling, LOL
