In my boys' school, you'll need a movement/permission pass to go out of the classroom. Ethan took one of those to go to the toilet. On the way, he played with the pass, throwing it in the air and catching it when it came down. On the last throw, the pass didn't land in his hand wor but went 3 floors down instead. It narrowly missed hitting a teacher. A famously strict teacher to be precise. Needless to say he had a quite a blasting from her.
When the Significant Other was home in the evening and talked to Ethan about this incident...
Ethan: I was 3 times unlucky lor. Unlucky no. 1: it had to fall all the way down. Unlucky no.2: it had to nearly hit THAT teacher and Unlucky no.3: Ewan had to walk past at THAT time to see all this!!
