Any Good News?

That was what Ewan asked me on the way home from school ;-)

I was surprised. He never asked me that. Usually I'll ask the boys how's school and Ewan (more than gor gor) will ask me how's my day.

It took me a little while to answer him because i wasn't sure i understood his question. Here was my answer:

Yes, i hv "good news". Firstly, this morning i received an email from an old fren who has relocated to Australia recently. The funny thing was that i was just thinking about her wondering if she has settled there. This is the second time in a week that this happened. I was thinking about my cousin who is pregnant and was about to sms her when she emailed me. Wow. Like I told Ewan, it takes effort to keep in touch but it's worth the while cos it lights up your day :-)

Secondly, LK surprised me by dropping our reading for this Thursday's cell at my doorstep and only sms me when she was gone, LoL. This is what i call commitment, dear sis! For all the trouble you took, i will guai guai finish the reading before we meet ;-)

Thirdly, the good news was that i don't hv any bad news to report, hahahaha.

Ewan on the other hand had a "grouchy" day in school - he couldn't find anyone who wanted to go to the library with him during recess and it was so noisy there that he couldn't read and it was so hot in his classroom today...., LoL, that was a lot of "bad news".

But being able to share with one another your day is good news. Rite? ;-)
