I was so looking forward to meeting my old fren this morning. Thinking it would probably lift my spirits. I waited for an hour! I tried contacting her but to no avail. Utterly defeated (well, not utterly, i read many chapters of my book standing, LoL), i went to the library before heading home. She finally called me.
She discovered her handphone missing late last nite, of all nites.
She thought we arranged to meet at the XX Point because it is nearer to my place, when actually we arranged to meet at XX Mall which is nearer to my kids' school, LoL
She tried to call our mutual friends' office numbers (nobody remembers handphone numbers anymore) but couldn't get anybody. She thought her hubs wouldn't have my number so she didn't try but i think he has, LoL.
She made her way to my place and left a note. I arrived home at most only 10 minutes after she left.
But we managed a short phone chat before I headed out again. We have arranged to meet up next week, same time, same place, hahahaha.
I think I am better already.
