Early Thursday morning at about 1.30 am, the chartered taxi that Fai was travelling in after his night shift was hit in the rear and poor Fai who was sitting beside the driver suffered a whiplash. The driver was speeding along the highway and was momentarily distracted by an accident on the road (a car was in a ball of fire) that he didn't notice he was going to bang into the car in front. When Fai and his colleague shouted the warning to him, he jammed brake and the car behind whammed right into the rear. The impact threw Fai forward and then backward and he hit his head hard against the head rest. He can't move his neck now but thank God, X-ray examination showed nothing broken. Fai was traumatized by it. He told me it felt like he had "been there and back".
We are extremely thankful for God's protection.
