Ready for School

Bought Ewan a new school bag last Sunday. He is going to use it when he goes Primary School next year! Well, to an impatient 5 ½ year old, there is no difference in waiting 6 months or 6 minutes. He wants to use the bag NOW!

The boys solved the problem beautifully by playing school. Ethan eagerly dumped ALL his P1 textbooks into the bag.

Ewan played his part extremely well by announcing “Today is first day at school and I am nervous” ;-)

Ethan was the strict teacher, scribbling furiously away math sums for Ewan to do. Ewan grew tired working on it after a (very short) while and requested to change subjects. Ethan told him that there are more (sums that is) to come and in addition, Ewan also has to do English and Chinese lessons.

But teacher and student never got passed Math. They went for recess. Munching an apple was more appealing than lesson time ;-)
