Why Not?

When my kids come up with their 1000 requests, i usually have 1001 reasons to say No.

Last Thursday, Ethan flipped through one of his books and decided that it is play-dough day. Problem was we didn't have any ready dough to play with. So we need to make the dough. I was REALLY tempted to ask the kids to play some other stuff (AND don't bother me). But i ran through the ingredients listed in his book and decided to say Why Not? That Why Not? and my baking flour, cooking oil, salt and cookie cutters became the simple ingredients to an afternoon of fun and creativity.

Saturday morning saw another Why Not?. We woke up early to go for breakfast and proceeded to a nearby park. As the kids are in morning school and we go to church on Sundays, we usually opt to sleep later than usual on Saturdays. But the kids asked to bike and we decided, you guessed it, Why Not? It was a wonderful laid back day. The kids biked and made new friends at the park. We chatted away when the kids left us alone. We also played together at the exercise corner. We saw a family having fun with a ball and all of us agreed we should bring one along the next time.

Why Not?
