Happy 45th to Singapore!
Excellent pictures at this

We didn't watch the NDP in its entirety cos we went running in the evening. We saw the F15s and F16s flying above us. Actually, we've been hearing them VERY often this past month. Am glad it's finally over :)
The morning after National Day (which is this morning), we went to cheer for the YOG entourage which passed by our neighbourhood.

It rained in the morning. But the skies cleared in time. A tent was set up where we gathered. Free balloons, pop-corn and ice-cream. We didn't come for those lah. The YOG has received so much negative press that i feel that if we take away the politics of it all, we can all do our very small part in supporting and cheering for our young athletes who have a dream...

The torch bearer (donoe who). We were waiting for the entourage to loop one round before passing in front of us.

Clappers, poppers, flags, balloons were given out to the cheerers (whatever we are called). i wish they cut out the balloons though....

See those in blue (at the top right corner). They are from a popular mobile phone company. They came with their own clappers and flags bearing their company logo, what else :)

While waiting, this XCB (xiao char bo) led in the not-like-a-cheer-at-all Singapore YOG cheer in the middle of the road. Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah HEY... Shoot me please

That's Ewan

and Ethan

Finally!! Don't need that MC one lah, people will automatically cheer for the athletes when they arrived.

May your dreams be fulfilled...

and yours too :)

See what i mean by cutting out on the balloons?? Sigh....

Now see only the backside.....of the torch :)
Go Singapore Go!
