Outdoors

We went to the Botanic Gardens on Friday, starting from the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden from the Bukit Timah side. i haven't stepped foot into Botanical Gardens for at least 5 years. Definitely haven't been to this children's garden. It's said to be suitable for kids under 12. We saw many ang mos and their toddlers there. It's a bit kiddish for my boys but nonetheless still a nice and educational place.

Bananas are not fruits but herbs!! At least that's what i read there :)

After lunch, we went to Evolution Garden. We didn't know we started at the wrong end - present day instead of beginning of the world :)

Can't remember what these plants are. Found during dinosaur time one lah.... By this time, it was getting really hot, we didn't stop very much, just read the info board and continued

The Rain Forest trail was nice. We did this trail 5 years back together with the kids from church during VBS (Vacation Bible School)



Battery quite flat liao :) Resting by the Swan Lake. Here the swans are of the real snowy white kind and the stony statue kind.

We saw a couple taking bridal photos and the first thing Ethan commented was "Aiyoh, the groom not hot ah", lol

We called it a day, exiting from the Cluny Road side. Promptly rewarded ourselves with ice-cream from the mobile ice-cream seller at the bus stop in front of Gleneagles Hospital.

It's great to be outdoors for sure. But not so hot lah, lol
