Yesterday afternoon, a group comprising mostly aunties and uncles set out for a 9km (or less) walk through a stretch of connecting trails collectively known as the
Southern Ridges. I'm glad to report that most made it in one piece at the end of the 3-hour quest.

We started from Kent Ridge Park. You wouldn't be able to tell that a few steps away from this peaceful sight, a flight of endless steps confronted us.

Now, "an uphill task" takes on a whole new meaning! Besides, early in the trail, the mozzies were out in force. Their recess time, lol.

We saw the above sign throughout the trail. Got so garm garm drop on your head one meh?

Obviously not the aunties or uncles

Aiyah, only one group pix and not all members were in.
The missing uncles, lol.
We were doing the Canopy Walk.

This is so unlike Singapore hoh. We were at the HortPark. Yah man, so damn HOT at this place. But can't compRain lah, better than raining right? We had an ice-cream stop here ;-)

Wizard of Oz - themed garden.
There...the Cowardly Lion..

A playground suitable for cannot-not-climb kids

I love this stretch. It's called the Forest Walk. You are so near to the trees. See those umbrellas? Our aunties one, lol

This is the iconic Henderson Waves. Ewan was trying to run up. Here he was sliding down, lol

Atop Mount Faber. Very tired and sweaty. Here Mr W was briefing us on the next step. Listen huh so you wern get lost, lol. One group to go in his car. The rest to use their "kars" to complete the Marang Trial, i mean Trail, which will end at HarbourFront MRT. Then one group with car to ferry another group to get car, the rest will take MRT to Chinatown where we would meet for dinner. Simple. Got it? No, because BK and I got lost, wahahahaha

Look at Nattie's shirt to more or less gauge how sweaty the rest of us were, lol

Sunset. Nice.
What a Walk ;-)
