I spend the greater part of the week feeling unsettled about something. But a kid's show which my 2 boys watch every weekday afternoon is a great cheer.
It's called Pinky Dinky Doo. Every episode has a segment which introduces a great big fancy word. My kids have learnt words like gargantuan, flabbergasted, hubbub, etc. A sample of the words can be found here.
This spunky girl is also confronted with a problem in every episode and her approach is to Think Big
She'll break into this ditty:
If I had a problem
Don't know which way to go
I Think and Think and Think and Think
And suddenly I Know
Neat.
