Our Aspiring Triathlete

This morning, Ewan participated in the Milo MOE Youth Triathlon 2010 held at Sentosa, Palawan Beach. We were there early to collect the rental bike as well as familiarize Ewan with the route. Here is the first stop: the swimming route.


Here is the transition area where you park your bike and your shoes at the area allocated to you. Only one parent is allowed into the area. i volunteered papa, cos i am the photographer mah.


Might as well also be familiar with the feeling of completing the triathlon, lol



There are 7 groups in the Junior category, flag off time is 5 minutes apart. The Senior category is the first to go. Ewan's group is the first in the junior category. Here is the final briefing before moving to the swimming area.

Back he comes, lol. Finishing the biking route (2.5 km). Aiyah, not easy to be photographer lor, cannot go over to the other side to shoot him. So no pix of him ON the bike, lol

Our little champion :) Finishing the race makes you a champion mah, that's what the MC of the event kept saying.... "remember, this is NOT a race...yadda yadda yadda". Actually i agree lah, lol


Ewan with the finisher medal. Thank goodness it's a medal. My friends told me for last year's inaugural event, participants were rewarded with a MILO TIN (empty hah) with a ribbon, LOL
