Ethan just called me from camp (thankfully not army camp, can't imagine the day, lol)He is away for a 3D2N camp for all P5s. We didn't have any issue with that cos it's compulsory for all P5s and most importantly he was looking forward to having fun with his classmates.
It's a different story when it comes to a 10-day trip to China for P5/P6 this coming March. We wanted him to go cos it would be a good experience mah. But he didn't want to, flatly refused. It was kind of funny actually. After he shoved me the notice from school, he went into his room. I scanned through the contents and commented that it is a good opportunity. He yelled "No" from the room (not rudely though). I read the daily programme out loud and asked him again and he yelled "Maybe" lol. Ethan didn't want to go cos he thinks 10 days is a longgggggg time, compared to the 3D2N camps he has attended. Well, i agreed with him that it's longer than his usual camps but promised that he can call home every night. That seems to address his concerns immediately and he said Ok to the trip :)
But that would also mean 10 days with Ewan alone! Ewan has been whining non-stop about being bored without Ethan around. Can't imagine how this will magnify during the 10 days (of which there is a week long school hols) Ethan is away. *Shudder*
