Back to School with Dad

What a start! It was raining cats and dogs in the morning :)

The boys were excited about going back to school. i was more relieved, lol.

Fai walked the boys to school as part of the 'Back to School with Dad' initiative. This is the first time the boys' school participated in the event and the school wants to win a prize wor - so teachers were taking photos of dads holding hands with their kids (and supposedly in the process of walking, lol). Read the contest criteria here. One teacher was complaining that the rain put a damper on the event cos it was difficult to take pics. True lah, but never mind; i'm glad my significant other walked with the boys this morning cos it has always been me due to his working schedule :)

i stayed on in school to do duty - showed parents of P1 boys to the respective classes as part of orientation programme. It was all hi and happy new year to teachers and parent volunteers. Somehow, it feels good to be in back to the routine :)
