Bintan Getaway

Earlier this month, we went to Bintan for some sun, sand and sea....

This was taken on the late afternoon we arrived. Skies were GREY, lol.

For the record we did let it go after the boys had fun with it :)


The next day, we did have SUN, lots of it in fact. This pix was taken by a young Indian family who was stuck at this point of the beach cos their baby pram couldn't go any further :) By the way, i think half of S'pore was there at the resort. Everywhere we went, we bumped into fellow citizens. All of us intro ourselves by where we live in S'pore, lol.

This is where the sea meets the river, or is it the other way round?



Many hours were spent trying to catch fishes. Here, we were building a barrier to stop the fishes from swimming out to the sea.


It was also here all kena sand flies :(


But it was fun though: we, i mean, mostly the significant other, caught many fishes.


Can you see some of them? We even brought them back to S'pore to give my brother. Alas, not many survived the relocation stress....

The rest of the time there were mostly spent in the pool.




We tried other things like archery and laser quest too. It's not cheap though. Prices in S$ some more. But it was a relaxing holiday nonetheless.


On the ferry back home. Ewan got ready the vomit bag cos he vomited on the way there. But it was gor gor who vomited on the way back, LOL.
