Catching Up

Mrs K asked me this afternoon after church if anything was bothering me this week. Am very touched when a friend just somehow "knows" :)

Haven't been blogging for a week, so here's some catching up...

School has re-opened last Monday. But there are preventive measures to keep H1N1 at bay. Temperature taking twice a day. No assemblies. No after-school activities. No parent volunteer activities, etc, etc. Ethan has a new form teacher cos the old one is furthering her studies till the end of the year. Ewan has a new Chinese teacher whom Ewan described as "very fierce, cannot even move your body a bit", lol.

i had thought too i can go back to jogging cos i haven't done so for the entire month of June hols. i usually jog after walking the boys to school. But this week i fell ill with cough and flu and so couldn't jog.

Half way through the week, i started preparing for this coming Sunday's bible class. For the month of July and August, i will be teaching the K1/K2 class. This morning was my first lesson and i love the kids so - sooooooooo talkative but so cute too lah :)

Yesterday, i was delighted to see two of my cousins. You would never have imagined them to be old enough to be my father right? LoL. This is something i use to explain to my friends. My dad came from a LARGE family. And within my family, i am the youngest, a good 11 years younger than the sibling just above me. So i have cousins whose kids are older than me :) As for the 2 cousins who visited, they have much more in common with my siblings, having grown up together. Listening to the conversation, i discovered things i never knew. My childhood experiences were so different from theirs! But it had been a good catching up time :)

And yes, something was weighing me this week but it's slowly lifting.

Have a faith-filled week ahead :)
